Ellie Beck is a textile artist, writer and photographer living and working from her home studio in the rainforest, Northern NSW, Australia.

She works in an instinctual way; conversations with her materials form the basis of her work. Using natural materials, botanically dyed fabrics, and vintage textiles, Ellie creates improvisational quilts, slow stitched pieces and textile art that speak of her life in nature, slow living and motherhood.
Alongside her craftwork, Ellie is a published author and photographer, as well as a creativity coach working with artists, crafters and small business owners helping them to bring their innate creativity into the world.

She teaches online art, craft and creative coaching courses and workshops, as well as hosts an online Slow Stitching community, where people from all over the world gather to share their hand sewing, embroidery and textile pieces.
